I just had a profound thought. What if the universe was a seed planted 14 billion years ago? And then it "sprouted" (the Big Bang) and is currently growing "underground" (in space), which is why the universe appears dark.

All these things were formed naturally. They are all eerily similar in design and structure. Surely this is no coincidence. I think it's entirely possible the universe is "alive." We're like mitochondria, leeches, parasites, or something...
As for the universe being a seed? I arrived at this stunning idea due to looking at pictures of the universe on the internet. Maybe the big bang is just a little seed growing to become some super-duper-universe-tree thing. Whatcha think?
