 @ Chrstopher Nolan. No seriously is he capable of making a film without some obvious clear as day plot holes.

I mean it's bad enough that the movie has: Stilted characters, lame expository dialogue, and a contrived plot.I mean All that wannabe intellectual ish just turned out to excuse after excuse for action sequences. To go along with something this obvious? lol

The biggest problem with this one is that Christopher Nolan will think he's a genius for writing this fail. There's still Memento at least

*sigh* Most overrated director of the decade?

You could do that.

But then it wouldn't be a fun movie if it did would it?

here is the thing if you make a movie that is a clear, honest, representation of real life, nobody will want to watch it, because people want to escape, they want things to look nice, not be real. and this movie achieved that, so no matter what you say on the matter, that's all that counts.

Like if Gandalf sent the Eagles in the first place, or Leia didn't let the Death Star track her to Yavin 4.
Cobb was a fugitive on the run for his wife's death, in which he was believed to be the murderer. As such, custody of the children went to his wife's relatives, not his. Therefore, Michael Caine (was he even a family member? I thought he was just a mentor) would not have been legally authorized to take the children halfway across the world.
sure, but they aren't perfect representations of real life. nobody would watch that. nobody wants to see dust, or misaligned objects in a room. Everything is designed to look appealing. It's not designed to represent real life, or circumstances. It would be boring.

And good luck to Michael Cain's character getting the kids out of the country when he isn't the parent.

SO unless you can do better. How could you establish it's bad writing? You can't. And you're making the biggest mistake by assuming he's in reality to begin with, and since he's not in reality, he can't make a resonable or rational deceision as obivious as you're suggesting.

What point? POTENTIAL SPOILERS AND IM TOO LAZY TO DO THE TAG PLUS I HATE HTML ERRORS Caine has custody of the kids. Caine is more than capable of bringing the kids to France. Clearly it isn't out of the realm of possibility that he can't bring the kids over(what with him being the guardian and not exactly hating cobb)
