I would most likely choose Chinese. I'm learning Spanish now, and its not that hard. Chinese I would assume is pretty hard to learn, but I'd love to know the language.

i choose 3
russian, german and ukrainian
i am ukrainian and i am learning russian. all 3 would be awesome:D
Russian or Swedish. Those are two countries I would like to visit. I'd also like to move to Sweden someday :)
Either Russian or Ukranian, so I could import S.T.A.L.K.E.R. games and get the european special editions before their released here,
Or, more practically, Arabic or Chinese, because of the large amount of people who speak those two languages.
I'll probably take an Arabic language course in University anyway. and hopefully talk to my friend and his brother in Arabic. :D

Any language but Spanish. I was reading this thread with moderately low blood pressure, but a few of the replies put a stop to that. Spanish is, bar none, the worst language ever spoken. I would rather cut out my tongue. I would rather piss out a cactus than learn that sorry excuse for a language.doritosandbeer
Japanese would more than likely be the easiest to learn out of those. I've studied Japanese for several years and it isn't as hard as one might think. The language itself is focused on three writing systems: hiragana, katakana, and kanji. The first is a system developed for the Japanese people and their language, the second is a different set of symbols using the same sounds of the language, but adapted for languages other than Japanese itself. And Kanji is an adopted system of Chinese characters to help simply writing of certain Japanese words and phrases and other things of the sort. The language itself is spoken in syllables, so it isn't very hard to pronounce. As for myself, I wouldn't mind learning Arabic and French as I'm half Lebanese, and most Lebanese people speak a combination of the two along with English.Probably one of the harder ones. I've heard Japanese, Chinese, and Arabic can all be quite challenging, not sure which one I'd take out fo the three.

Assuming that by "learn" you also mean it to a "master" extent - Malay. I'm sorely lacking there and learning it to a high grade will help me a lot where I live.
