Don't worry. A group of offshore oil drillers will go and blow any dangerous meteor inhalf. No problems.

Here is a theory, life on earth was started by the moon hitting us, but I would not worry about it happening again, they have computers calculating thousands a day, and they have an idea of what to do with one if it was coming.

if a moon hit us, it would break the crust and cover the world in a layer of molten magma, which would cause any life at all to die instantly, thus eliminating the possibility that it would start life

that's called shifting the burden of proof. when you come up with an idea, according to the scientific method, you have to prove that the idea you presented is in fact true

Couldve blasted part of the moon off of it. And also, space is freezing so it would cool down at some point.

I don't understand what the big deal is with all these people who say "a meteor six miles wide is gonna destroy the whole world!!" I mean, come on. There are better things to do in life besides waste your time watching out for meteors that aren't even headed toward earth. It even is prophesied by God in the bible: And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring; Luk 21:26 Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.

some scientists believe that the earth used to be in a far different place, how do you think a volcano zone can start to grow plants again?

and I didn't mean started I was meaning to say changed, but I didn't want to get too into it because of god lovers like yourself wandering around.

If the moon brought life to Earth, why isn't there life on the moon? Not to mention it is impossible for the moon to support life, even if it had an atmosphere. Also, the fact that the Moon came from the Earth.

So yea, life wasn't started by a moon hitting us.
