You mean romance novels, right? Not full on pr0nz.If "My Big **** in *****" counts as a normal romance novel....then sure.:| I'm not a authority on erotic novels. But the titles at least are cheesier than the cheesiest porno title.
never happened to me. amazon is generally pretty tailored to the user...LoG-Sacrament
Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu:x
Damn your suggestions and accusations.
You do know Amazon searches are based on purchase history right? Maybe you should slow down on the sex toy purchasin' buddy.bobbetybob:lol: This.....

To the best of my knowledge I've only been on Amazon twice on this new laptop.:| The first time was when I ordered 1Q84. And that was the only thing I seached on that day I believe. No sex toys here.

Uhh...your purchase history, not the browsing history of whatever browser/computer you happen to be on.
whenever I get an ereader it will be a nook simple touch.
better form factor imo, nice rubberized back, and it has a card reader.
also they never teased/lied to me with a device that was supposedly going to have free 3G capability but then pull the rug out from under me.
 at the smartasses that think they know my search/purchase history on Amazon.

We don't claim to know your history on Amazon. We just know how Amazon works. Case in point: the other day I looked up a Styx album for my wife and now when I go to Amazon I'm flooded with suggestions for various mullet rock bands.

So Amazon thinks my purchase of 1Q84 means I'm interested in porn novels and that's how Amazon works. Is that the point everyone is making?
My point is that if I search say...a 'Christmas Carol' up comes 'A Christmas Carol Gangbang' on page three.
I'm not talking about 'suggestions' I'm talking about actual search results.

What else have you searched for or purchased in the past? Are you the only person who uses that account? And I just did a search for "a christmas carol" and didn't get anything remotely pornish in the results.

1Q84 and that was it until today when I searched Nabokov's Lolita (which I know isn't that innocent but still) and up came....well see for yourself. And that was the moment I realized Amazon had gone to hell. :/ I looked up JK Rowling's new book too.
And yes I'm the only one that uses this account.

I dunno dude. I can't say that I've ever been spammed with porn on Amazon on ether search results or suggestions (and I'm a Kindle owner too).

The 'spammed' part was a bit of a exaggeration on my part. Though like I said, I never know what kind of **** is going to come up now.

You should be working instead of browsing for naughty videos.@ everyone
type 'teacher' into in Amazon search engine. Surely that's a innocent enough word. (maybe you're looking for something like 'how to be a good teacher' or 'habits of effective teachers')
and then tell me what comes up no 1.
