How/where/when did you propose to your lover?

I'm asking this out of my curiosity...such as your first date...and several "techniques" as you guys insist;)

anyways, I'll share this to everyone here about my first date in the zoo...it happened in the last year of November, in the middle of a gondola in the zoo suring the night...yet it takes courage to say "I want you to be my boyfriend." in front of my friends because it was basically a triple date...= =..

I'm still living my life and I'm asking what are yours...?(I'm still a newbie to OT so please forgive me if this a bit offensive)

I'd never be able to do that, especially with other friends. If she would have said no, imagine the awkwardness that would have ensued...

I like to play it safe, so it'll be awhile before I ask anyone.

I think I've told this story a few times here already...but I cooked her dinner while she was at work, and then proceeded to glue Scrabble tiles onto the game board to spell out "Will you marry me?" (I used a blank tile and drew a ?). Then after dinner, I asked if she'd play Scrabble with me. She opened the box, cried, put the ring on and called everyone she knew. And needless to say we never did end up playing Scrabble that night.
