i dont really think there is an age which you could define as too old, i mean the staff who run gamespot arent exactly young and ive seen them post on the forums on a few occasions
if you talk about the good ol' days all the time, or use the phrase "kids these days" you may be on your way to being too old for gaming. but in general, age is just a number. there's no limit. this is not Logan's Run (although referencing that movie may make me too old...)

I was told today that I am too old to be posting on a gaming forum. To which I asked, "Why?" and no reasonable answer was given. I think as long as GS has great people, and the riff-raff keep getting banned then I say keep on posting. People seem to think that talking to people via the interwebz is crazy or juvenile. I have no idea why, but they are entitled to their opinions.

She's kinda right unless you just come for certain users in OT you'll out grow the gaming and tech parts of the site and move on to a more hardcore site.

I have seen other internet forums (NEOGAF, Gamepro, Shoryuken,, etc.), and they are great for browsing but I have no interest in the communities. There are times I am disappointed in the community of GS but, as of yet, I have seen nothing that makes me want to move to another forum.
