This excludes living in college dorms and the traits of your living partner(s) that you need to put up with. I'm talking about money issues. Do you feel worried or feel stressed when you need to go out shopping for what you need or when it's time to pay for bills? Is there always these thoughts in your head about not being able to pay your cost of living with everything you need to buy and pay for. Is it a thought that goes away over time? Or should you just know what you're getting into before moving away from home?

It's easier if you're one of those people who don't over worry about absouletly everything. Even being around those type of people can be extremely stressful. If you have a job that has a salary capable of paying your living requirements then living outside your parents home in most cases is better then living with your parents. People get such nostalgia when they think of highschool when really working and paying your own way in life is much more satisifying and free.

Don't move out until you know you're ready. I've managed my finances very well, and don't really worry about my bills, and I make sure I'm able to pay them off before I spend money on myself.

I was terrified when I first moved out on my own, but it's pretty easy to get by when you have to just do it. On the other hand, I helped with budgeting and stuff as I grew up

I didn't have too much stress about the bills when I moved out. I left home the day before I turned 18 to go to basic training for the Army and whenI got there bills were the least of my worries. After I finished basic and got to my first duty station I still lived in barracks and the only bills I had were my phone and cable bill (this was before broadband went into the mainstream). The real bills didn't come in until I moved out of the barracks and got an apartment off-base but there wasn't any stress with that because I did what most people should do: budget their money and put a little away for later. Several years later I still don't worry about it even with a wife and daughter.

No problem as long as you live within your means.

I would say they're extra reasons to be stressed, but you should be prepared before all of this before moving out etc

Just start out with something small and work your way up. The only real stress is money. So, once you know how you'll stand there, you should be fine. Unless you're afraid of ghosts, in which case, it may be a little more difficult :P

Well, I've got less stress living alone. And there've been no quarrels in our family since I moved.

If you're not living with your parents, I imagine the primary stressors are bills, food, and other expenses.

My life got exponentially better post move-out. But some people are not equipped to deal with it in their adolescent years (or sometimes even later on in life)

When I moved out of my parents house I felt the stress lift of my shoulders.

Just plan ahead with your money. Know how much you have to set aside for bills and food, and know how much you can use for spending money. Set up a routine and keep with it. Once I got into the routine of it, it really wasn't an issue.

It's not stressful at all if you have a job and know how to handle your money.
