How many times do you call a girl before you give up?

If you get any hint from her that you're annoying, then back off. Don't be stubborn, but don't act like a stalker either. One message is enough.

I was always told to wait for them to call but if they havent called after you called once, dont bother again. So far I find that to be true and effective.

This cute girl gave me her number last Thursday. We were talking about going to a christmas festival thing on Friday and when I called(on Friday) she told me that an old friend of hers came to town for a little while and she wanted to hang out with her while she could. She also told me in that same conversation that she still wanted to do something and that maybe we could go see a movie or something like that. I called her again two days later(sunday) and a guy(probably herbrother) told me that she wasat work. Today(monday) I called both her house and cell number and neither picked up.She has mynumber so it's not like she isnt picking it up because she doesnt recognize it. How much longer should I keep going at this, if at all?

Also, I'm pretty sure that she's single because I never see her with any guys and I saw her at a local social thing where every girl there was with her boyfriend and she was only with her female friend.

And as far as leaving a message goes, I would prefer not to do that because no one ever calls me back when I leave a message(girls and guys) and I don't want to turn into one of those people who leave like 10 messages thatkeep going on and on and then the ball is in her court and I would have to wait for a response from her(which I hate having to do with girls).

I'm probably blowing this way out of proportion but I don't want to come off as a stalker or annoying or needyor anything like that.

She's been out with her old friend and been to work. Little wonder she hasn't called you. She already told you she wants to do something with you on another day. It's only been a few days so you can't expect her to call you back straight away - after all you're not her boyfriend and she has her own life to live.

I'd leave it until maybe Thursday to call her again. If she still doesn't call back then consider her a lost cause.

once. most people have cell phones which log your number, so if i call and she doesn't answer then i leave a message and move on :D

I have a machine set up to automatically call over 500 girls in 50+ countries.

I usually give it around 200 calls, usually over the span of a few days. If she hasn't responded by call #200 then she clearly doesn't realize what a favor I'm doing her by offering to date her, and thus she isn't worth my time.

I've been thinking a lot about this today and I realized, when I called her today and she didn't pick up, that didn't mean anything. I shouldn't be freaking out over the fact that no one picked up the phone this one time. They could have been out doing a family christmas thing and left her cell at home for all I know. I feel like this is something that I should have in the bag. Tomorrow I'm going to call again at the exact same time that I called the last time she answered and she's going to pick up the phone and I'm gonna tell her where we're going and we're gonna have a completely awesome first date. I'm not going to end up as some lonely neckbeard who pisses in a cup next to his computer and starts crying whenever a girl talks to him, dammit.

5 times. I used to live by that rule.
I stopped sending after I made 5 attempts to make contact and all were ignored/blown off .

Call once and leave a message, if she doesn't call back and I like her I'd call once more after about 3 days. If she still doesn't call back I go into full stalker mode :twisted:
