I went to their site, and was amazed by how many we had.
Just type in your zipcode:

Yup, its crazy. Seeing a Starbucks across the street from a Starucks always makes me laugh. You should try a new blueberries and cream frappuccino, though. Its delicious, and I don't even normally like blueberries.Jesus! I have 19 in a 5-mile radius!xboxdudeman800Nothing; I apparently have 83 Edit: If I expand to 50 miles, it says 500, which I'm assuming means more than 500, but that the results max out there
10. But in two areas, there appear to be multiple locations "stacked" on top of one another...
Maybe that adds a cumulative bonus to the flavor?
36. We have Starbucks, across the street from Starbucks.
No joke. We have two in the same shopping mall.
If you ever want to scare the employees at a Starbucks, walk up to the counter holding a little thermometer and a little scale and order a tall latte, a tall cappuccino, a tall mocha, and a tall white mocha. You'll get the best customer service ever! Thats what the "secret" shoppers do so they can make sure that they're doing everything right.Mumbles527My first time interviewing at Microsoft, I stopped at a Starbuck's in Redmond on my way in. The woman in front of my order some ridiculously complicated tall bald double skinny half-caff latte, steamed for 45 seconds at 160 degrees, all crazy specific. The woman behind the counter smiled, said "Certainly!" and as I watched, went and made the woman's drink exactly the way she had made everyone else's. I thought it was one of the finest instances of customer service I ever saw.

Which one? The one by the old QFC, the new QFC, Redmond Town Center?
You're in my stomping grounds. I live in Redmond.

So many of the special custom parts of a drink are so subtle that you wouldn't notice the person doing it unless you really knew Starbucks stuff well. To steam something for a different amount of time than normal, for example, you use the manual steam button instead of the auto steam button, and they're right next to each other on the machine. Most of the other stuff is just slightly changing which button you press, also. Or which type of milk you use.

It was by *a* QFC, I didn't get the job, so I don't know the area well enough to know if its new or old :) It was around 1996 or so, if that helps narrow it downIt was by *a* QFC, I didn't get the job, so I don't know the area well enough to know if its new or old :) It was around 1996 or so, if that helps narrow it downxaos
Probably the old one. They're pretty close, so it makes no sense to me why they have two.
If it was the QFC in the strip mall, then that's it. The new QFC only share a building with Starbucks, Gamecrazy and a video store.
Sorry you didn't get the job. :( It's pretty crowded in Redmond now though.
