i dont think globarl warming will ever kills us, nore do i think we will ever kill ourselves in war or an epidemic disease. what i do think will kill us off, will be when the sun bruns out a few thousand years from now, and if we havnt moved people to a habital planet with breathable air, stable environment, food, and heat, then we will all die off. not in my life time though, or for another 100 generations from nowncderek

I think the rapture is a description of how nature evolves. It's not that I'm avoiding the fact religion has made a prediction, it's what happens in the state of panic. It's how the world evolves, everything we produce comes from the earth. With that said, how can the earth not sustain the damage? There will be an end to the reign of the human being, the question is what living organism will rule after humans are gone? The Earth will still be around and life will continue, however, we will die out, it's inevitable. That's just how nature works. Evolution will be our demise. Wars, pollution, and the deminishing of resources will only speed up the process. But there's no way that one can take religion away from forseeing the future.

Armegeddon is what you get when religion and science combine forces to form the most harmonious disaster.

Isn't there a lot of concern about it taking place in 2012. Due to the Magnetic Polar Shift and the Sun Shift occuring at the same time. Can't remember the exact details, but the Sun does something when the Earth does something and they shouldn't do it together or BOOM (it'll more likely just shatter the Earth from what i've heard but SHATTER doesn't make as good an emotional impact as BOOM) on 2012 its the first time that both events will happen at the same time. I've read that too. I think it was gandhi that predicted that. He said 12/21/2012 would be the day. That would be my 23rd Birthday. lol.
