How long can you last without the Internet?

I can barely last for a day, let alone a week. :?

If I had to survive without it, of course I could, it's not like water.

I would need something to occupy my mind. But say I was thrown into a secluded town in the Black Forest with hardly any electronics, I would rather have that. It would also allow me to increase mein Deutsch Sprechen skills.

Not even a day. I start thinking about it and eventually I'd go insane.

Three minutes. I usually have a question that randomly pops in my head and I use the internet to satisfy my curiosity.Avistann

I have an iPhone so it's bad for me. I can have the internet anywhere I can take a call. If I was deserted on a deset island I would Professor me up a coconut laptop that ran on fire and connected via some home-made bunny ears.

I've lasted up 4 months without internet. I lost weight, found other forms of entertainment I never thought I'd like. Among other things.

I would be pretty bored but once i get used to its absence i should be fine.

I lasted about one month once during a summer vacation (there was no internet where I was)... before accessing an Internet cafe.

Never used the internet much till I was 16. I could live without it.

Not more than a week

In the past, I've lasted around four or five weeks without going near a computer. Probably double that amount maybe only once or twice. The need to log back on always kicks in though. I haven't tested how much I can really go without long term access. Although,I know that I could survive okay, 'cause there were years of not having a home computer.

It's been a while since I made a conscious effort to stay away. But I've learned that you appreciate things more'; people, conversations, having fun etc. The net can be a focal point for a lot of negativity or apathy at times, and when you're away, it's like getting part of your humanity back. :D On the flip side of that, I've appreciated the net more when returning to it.

Time does seem to move slower when your offline. When you're in that virtual bubble on a daily basis, it messes with your senses.

Approximately 32 seconds. I have to rush to make breakfast before I explode. :D

Seriously though, I once lasted a week without internet. But it was at a resort in Mexico, so there was lots of other stuff to do.

As much as possible. I will probably find other things to do.
