just got tickets to see Joel Olsteen (the pastor, for the few of you that haven't heard of him). My family basically worships the ground he walks on. His sermon's are truly amazing.

yep, and these mega millionaire tv evangelists are living a selfish/lavish life that isn't condoned by scripture

the only reason they get so much attention is because they make the audience feel very good, positive and uplifted. Which i can understand why people would pay to experience that but still I can't help but notice the fraudulent vibe I get from tv preachers.

You beat me to it. I was going to warn against worshiping a false god. For the person that commented on how do you know people like him are rich.... ummm... watch tv. See them on shows like 60 minutes that point out this very thing. I've seen no less than 15 or 20 in my lifetime that focus on stuff like this.
