Hello Guys !

How do you greet people OT ? Hi or Hello or Hey ?

I usually greet others (new introductions) with hello and shaking hand.To freinds Hey, whats up.

For new introductions I nod acknowledging the person and a firm hand shake.

For lady friends cheek kiss, for dudes hand shake. Plus ¿que es la que hay?

I don't greet people at all.

Depends on which country I'm in and whether it's a personal or professional situation.

In Portugal introductions are a lot more vocal. Something like "Hello, nice to meet you. My name is Pedro..." and blablabla...in the Netherlands you just say hello and your name. Still sounds weird to me to see someone and go "Hello. Pedro"...makes me feel like I have some sort of speech impediment =P Handshakes for both men and women in professional situations in both countries and in personal situations it depends; in the Netherlands for women, either a handshake or 3 kisses on the cheek (as in right, left, right XD) and in Portugal it's normally 2 kisses on the cheek.

"Assalam-o-Alaikum". Which means "Peace be upon you". This greeting can be extended like "may peace, mercy and blessings of God be upon you" I usually use the extended version as it sounds more polite and welcoming. A good meeting should always begin by a heartwarming greeting. That's my motto!

I'm not into shaking peoples hands

If I know you....hey how's it going....on first meeting....hi nice to meet you or something like that. Hand shaking....professional situation only.

What if someone wishes to shake your hand? You'd decline? =P

I say "Hey man YOU'RE WINNER !"

In person? Usually "Yo" if I know the person or if they've peeved me off. "Hey" or "How's it going?" if I don't know the person.

Just depends on whether or not I'm feeling chatty.

Do they reply with "Me? Nah man, a winner is you!"
