If you play role playing games and it doesn't at least sting a bit when your character dies you aren't playing good ones.

@timsup2nothin: true.But this was mass effect.I played mass effect 1-3.Just so sad there wasnt a happy ending where all your friends were happy and you were alive ..Still a good game though.The characters had so much back story.The romance options wasn't too shabby also lol

No not really... On the other hand... Playing through The Last of Us I ended up pretty much agreeing with Joel after a while regarding Ellie. That girl wasn't going to die on that operating table

Don't play games long enough these days to complete. Although I did see stars after playing Elite D.

@exquisiteh:

Sounds like Mass Effect is definitely one of the "good ones" then. I'll put it on my list.

Never, I can't even get scared in a horror game or movie or feel sad during the dying scenes much less get emotionally attached to any characters. Even back in the day, In FF7, when Aerith dies that everyone talked about?....I felt nothing as I watched her sink other than thinking how is Cloud standing in that deepass water?

Yeah, of course. And in TV shows and books, too.

The Walking Dead Season 1. That game woke up the paternal instincts in me. Lee and I were both trying to protect Clementine like as if she was our own daughter. Anyways, if I have a daughter, I'm naming her Clementine.

@exquisiteh: That's weird cause I feel the same that way about Mass Effect, especially when that poor kid gets killed at the beginning of the game.
