Hi folks, just wondering what films you have watched lately? For me, I watched Black Swan a week ago for the first time. Absolutly loved it, I certainly didnt expect it to be so dark and scary. Other great films I have watched recently are Blade Runner, Sophie Scholl, The Green Mile, To Kill a Mocking Bird and Once Upon A Time in America, which is just absolutly incredible in my opinion

Saw Rob Zombie's new film The Lords of Salem the other night. It is unlike anything else he has made and was completely bizzare and unique. I loved it.

Where do you get all your movies? harashawn

Mainly various cable channels such as TCM, Cinemoi, MGM Movie channel, & the Sony Movie channel which tend to delight in older films and theme programming. Other than that I regularly scan YouTube for recent uploads of rare and never/no longer in print films afore they're taken down as well as some smaller distributors that send me newsletters of films they've managed to find a print of here and there around the world and the occasional scouring of well-stocked stores that cater to more obscure films. Also I ran movie and music stores/departments for a while and slowly dug out some interesting finds over the years...though most of these were eventually lost sadly.

Scary or Die, it's an episodic horror flick that involves some really good creative narrations.

Lol, you're the type of person to think Chris Nolan is the deepest director/writer in hollywood. The movie tells you, to your face, what just happened. You just didn't pay attention and your mind wandered. Just like Inception does for the 2 hours and 45 minutes it's playing.

Admittedly the story is plain as day once you get to the end but I liked it more for the way it structured time and things like that.

The Thin Red Line.

I remember when it first came out in theaters I didn't care it for it at all, but now having seen it years later I thought it was an amazing movie.  I even think that now it's a better movie than Saving private Ryan.
