a sportscar, sedan, SUV, truck? We need specifics here... If I were you I'd take a 2002 WS6 Trans Am and put a twin turbo system on it. If people laugh at you for being short, once they see your car, they'll be sure to stop.

are you trying to get a car to make up for your lack of height or do you want to use your height to your advantage to get a small, fuel efficient car

And what is your price range

08 Hyundai Accent, we bought it when it came out and modded the crap out of it. Cute fast little car, It's no Genesis but for less than 20k and built for small gals like myself it's great. Stock - 110hp after my hubby modded it (Cold air intake, Performance cat-back, performance chip and custom turbo kit) 205hp Total upgrade cost under 5k.

In that case, get a 90's Pontiac Firebird or Chevy Camaro. They are both rear wheel drive and less than 10K easily.

By do for fun do you mean race?

How about Pontiac Grand Am or Grand Prix. You can get either fairly cheap and they got big engines

If you want a fast car, I'd stay away from civics... For under 10 grand you can get a WS6 Trans Am. With a few mods they can run with Lambos and Porsches. If you're worried about being able to see the road, these cars are very low profile, you should have no trouble. Even though I doubt you'll listen to me and probably get a little ricer import, don't say I didn't warn ya. Trans Ams are very underrated cars imo.

Even up to 2002 can be for under 10,000. Although the firebird is uglier

Nikko_25

That stuff just makes me facepalm. Listen, I've owned probably 7 or 8 cars and I'm still young. I can tell you from experience that none of those cars would be good for your first. And I'm also assuming you mean a Nsx, not a Rsx.

Honestly, get yourself a nice late 90s early 2000s Civic, Si if you really must. Learn to really drive a car and handle it well before you move into anything else.

Also, being this is your first car and you plan on doing burnouts and "drifting" you're gonna quickly find out just how expensive all of those activities can be. And do not, by any means, buy a V8 muscle car as your first car. You will wind up meeting a guardrail sooner than you think. TransAms and Camaros also are expensive to maintain if you don't have the funds and the knowhow.

ya i meant nsx lol. those are very hard to get. I drive my cousin's 08 civic manual transmision right now and its pretty fast but its really hard to do donuts and power slide. I know V8s are bad idea because one of my friend ha an el camino and that mess spends alot of gas. My other friend has the camaro and I just think its too long.

Get a Miata! It would suit you well! It's sport, fun, but not too hard-edged. You won't kill yourself in it.

Im 5' 2" actually and have really no problems driving a 1995 Camaro. It is a long car but you do get used to it for the most part but really you do not want a fast car for your first car. So many kids do and end up wrecking them from showing off or doing something stupid. It's especially bad if you live in a state that gets ice or snow. Plus burning out not only can eat tires which are pretty expensive but can also lead to tickets and higher insurance. Honestly, from you post about trying to do donuts and power slides in a civic, i would HIGHLY recommend getting a cobolt or a Fusion at most lol.

2010 Camaro V6 = more HP than 2009 mustag GT

Back on topic, get a Mazda Miata, Pontiac Solstice (comes in a coupe, too), or Saturn Sky.

Well it had to be at a reasonable price so I could make under 200 dollar payments. It was actually pretty lucky I got it. I was looking for a 5 speed, almost ended getting a focus or saturn for around the same cost, couldn't really find anything I liked (visually) and my parents stumbled upon this. They called me, and I was sold on it, it's my first car so I'm very happy. V6 also qualifies for cheaper insurance and gets a bit better gas mileage. If I want in the future, I can customize it to get better hp. But for now I'm very pleased with the way it drives.

The 2010 Camaro V6 has slightly less HP and alot less torque than the Mustang GT i think but it is also like 6K cheaper. For the TC, who exactly is buying the car that you want anyways? The way you talk money doesnt seem to be a big concern like it is with alot of first time car buyers. If that is the case then i could care less because i hated kids like you in HS. They would be the ones that got a nice fast car, wreck it, and then get another just as nice car if not better.

So...what about 240sx? Is that a good starting car.I mean, its rear wheel drive, not expensive, and its a small 2 door car. Any one here has that ride?
