Perhaps a case could be made for the former two in favor of Opera (for a slight edge in raw rendering speed and its lack of many security holes,) but definitely not the latter two in my experience.

I ran into a few stability issues with Opera 9.5 back when I used it. Many more than I've run in to with the Firefox 3 betas/release candidates (I would get crashes with Opera 9.5 somewhat regularly.) Now Firefox 2 was a terrible experience for me, but Firefox 3 was an enormous improvement, and it converted me from Opera instantly.

As for capability..Opera doesn't even come close to the functionality of Firefox + add-ons. No browser does, in fact..and that's the primary reason I Firefox over everything else.

Also, a couple of Opera's "unique features" are pretty half-assed. The built-in IRC and BitTorrent clients, for example. You're so much better off using a seperate program for such functionality -- they aren't even worth the trouble of configuring.

I'm pretty happy with Firefox 3, it's certainly the best browser I've used. "Fast Dial" is the only feature I miss in Opera, and that can be added to Firefox with an add-on. The bookmark nicknaming was nice, too (one of those cool, more obscure features in Opera)..but the smart address bar in Firefox 3 more than makes up for it.

good, thats why i switched back to IE, i ccould have the same amount of tabs open in both abd firefox would beinig using three times as much memory.
