Reading the topic title just reminded me of this scene:
Back on topic, early 40's and I'm an admin for a local construction company. Just started about a month ago after quitting my old job.
I turn 45 this year and I work as an IT consultant for large enterprises at a consulting firm. I love my job and the company I work for, and the income takes care of all of our needs.
I'm no exercise nut but I stay active, but I also enjoy my hobbies which include BJJ, video gaming, VR, TV shows and Movies, reading, and family activities like hiking with the whole family (wife and two children), bike riding (usually me and the kids).
Eating out at restaurants used to be a big part of the routine with the kids but obviously that's been off the table for the last year. BJJ, too, although I'm teaching my kids at home since I can't get into grown-up class to roll with adults. That's a bummer, but I plan on returning in a few weeks once I'm fully vaccinated.
I am 33 and I work as a life insurance agent; My hobbies are watching Battle Rap, Stand Up comedy, playing video games and collecting some sneakers.
40+ microprocessor developer ( RTL level )
side note. this topic is kinda funny because sometimes when i'm sitting at my desk at home typing messages my wife will be like "why are you arguing with 12 year olds?" the assumption being everyone on a VG forum is teenager or below :)
the youngest i see here is 28
Damn, I thought most of you were in your 20s. 32 here. I'm an English teacher.
lol thought the same. i guess the kids have moved past internet forums
@robbie23: You seem to have a nice comfy job? And at 28 years old you’ve done well for yourself,Good for you buddy.
I am 30 and I'm a photographer and graphic artist. I've worked for photo companies as well as do my own freelance work. Done about 4 years of fashion and catalog photography. I've done product, food and souvenir type photography as well. Graphic is more freelance but I'm currently in the market for a new full-time job and that's a big option for me if I can find studio publication work or possibly a marketing type job. I've rubbed elbows and done some work in the film industry as well. If I can pivot more in that direction that will be the dream.
I am closer to 60 than 50. I am part of the senior management team in a very large publicly traded multi-national company. I will be retiring in the not too distant future, but I haven't decided where in the world yet. No snow though..had enough of that in my life.
I'm 62. I'm a game programmer (main tools: Java/LibGDX/AndroidStudio) and artist (using traditional media: airbrush/watercolour/gouache/pencil).
My previous two careers, commercial art and software development, have finally come together to form my dream job! :)
33yo (almost 34)

I work in Quality Control at a pharmaceutical company (best job I ever had)
Hi, I have an advice for you, please do not come back to the System Wars board, due to toxicity so I recommend you to stay on the Games Discussion board, please.
I’m around 200 years old, I run a little thing called the Galactic Empire. I game, collect exotic cars, kill jedi and spin hot fire on these boards.

I'm 34 and and (almost) an actuary. Very close to finishing my ASA. I was previously a biologist doing R&D work. Switched careers several years back.
