Just curious for the people here that watch Black Mirror what is your favorite episode?

I have to say mine is San Junipero it's weird because I hate love stories with a passion and find them cheesy as F but I think with that 80's setting and the idea of being able to transfer your consciousness into a computer is fascinating. This episode just made me feel so nostalgic for the past it almost made me feel sick to my stomach for how much I miss the 80's and 90's like painfully. It's rare for me to feel anything from a tv show but this episode just felt powerful as cheesy as that sounds it has stuck in my mind over the years.

Hard to pick just one.

Of course, I loved the first episode. Really sets the tone for the series, and frankly if you couldn't get past the first episode due to its content, you don't deserve to watch the other episodes.

"Shut Up and Dance" was great because of the twist at the end. It was poetic justice for sure, and frankly it was kind of nice how they showed that this molester is essentially this teenager or young man, not some old gross dude like we generally assume.

"White Christmas" was terrifying. They made an AI that was essentially human (a copy of one's mind) and then imprisoned it for what seems like eternity just so it can be your personal assistant? WTF?

"Fifteen Million Merits" is crazy because I can actually see the world going in that direction.

"Black Museum" is just awesome.

And I really like the change in pace with "Striking Vipers" it was nice to see a happy Black Mirror episode for once.

@warmblur: Totally agree about San Junipero. I like how you're just kinda thrown in with no explanation but the whole thing slowly starts to make sense. And then yeah, the love story going on inside the outlandish situation is well done.

That's a hard one, but I will say the USS Callister episode, I'll lean on that one since season 4 is easily the best season in series for me.

I'd say my other favorites include Nosedive from season 3 and Striking Vipers from season 5.

The first one where the PM is forced to fck a pig. That one set the bar too high for its own good. Never quite reach that level imo.

I liked the one about the dating app. Fairly happy ending which is a rarity for Black Mirror.

Thank you for this thread, I just remembered that I haven't finished to see it ahah

I watched few episodes anywway, I think 3 or 4 few months ago and I really liked it. It's different from the majority of the tv series, makes you think a lot.

I enjoyed the twist from white bear the most, but overall the entire history of you is the one that had me sitting silently in the dark after watching it for the longest. It was a gut punch.

black museum, really loved that episode, compared to the rest its not even close for me

shut up and dance was pretty cool, definitely made you want to find out wtf was going on

I appreciate what black mirror does, but ultimately the show just makes me want to watch twilight zone, amazing stories, or the outer limits instead.
