fwiw he's now a Chicago White Sox. That aside, except for athletes that we're on the field/court/ice. I've seen Bob Dole (former Republican Senetor and Presidentally canidate) and shook his hand. I also saw Hunter Mahan (PGA tour golfer, part of US Ryder cup team), and Todd Hamilton (PGA tour golfer, 2004 Open Championship champion) when they golfed at the same golf course my dad and I golf at (before they turned pro)

Ive seen a bajilion concerts and went back stage in most of them but i think the happest day of my life was when i met this guy

lets see... I've seen a lot of bands live so that doesn't really count.

I've been really close to Dave Grohl and Taylor Hawkins (I even told Taylor Hawkins how I thought he was a good drummer but I was too nervous to say anything to Grohl.) I've also been really close to the former mayor of Toronto and the former Blue Jays player Joe Carter but never said anything to them. I can't really think of anybody else but I'll come back to the thread if I remember someone else.

I worked in London for a while a few years back. I took a lift with just myself and Sacha Baron Cohen when I worked above a studio. He was dressed as Ali g, only wearing Jodhpurs. He was surprisingly posh. I've also had dinner with a band called Sneaky Sound System (Oz band) a couple of years ago and out for a couple of beers with the Cuban brothers if anyone knows who either of them are... Also Muse come from near where I'm from - the singer stole the girlfriend of a mate of mine before they were famous. I met him briefly years ago when he was just learning the guitar...
