Ever wonder why girls love rainy days?

Plenty of my female friends love rainy days. I have no idea why. I hate rainy days because it's so gloomy...and it's soo dark. I prefer sunny days over rainy. Clear skies, abundant sunshine...oh and add a little bit of wind and that'll be my perfect weather haha. Never understood why girls seem to love rainy days though. Maybe because they think it's more romantic? I'm pretty sure that's it. Correct me if I'm wrong though ;)

I only like when it rains at night. I can't stand when it is raining during the day. I want it to be bright and sunny outside every day.

I'm a guy and I love waking up to a rainy day - the sound of raindrops gently tapping on the roof is a relaxing way to get up in the morning. The only time I don't really like rain is when it's like 40 degrees outside.

I love a good rainy day; red wine on the flow; wind whistling down the chimney onto the pine cones crackling on the open log fire; etc. I'm a sucker for romantic cliches...

I don't think a voluntary sample of the few girls around you who you know qualifies as a sample large/random enough to make a generalization about the whole population. Where do you live? I think the local climate may be relevant.

Like here in Cleveland, it rains. I don't remember the last time I saw the blue sky. I'm not sure if i can take it any longer...

oh, wait, i lied, it's been sunny since morning :P. but sometimes it feels like Cleveland hasn't had any sun for weeks, and it's been like that since january...at least it makes these sunny days more memorable.

I always preferred a rainy day to a sunny day. Winter is better than summer. Any girl who likes wet, rainy days is my kind of lady.

i like rain. it just hasnt stopped raining for like 3 weeks here in ohio and its getting rediculous.

I LOVE rain. Even better with thunder and lightning. Wish that was always the weather.
