I can't spend $400 to play one game, but I am willing to pay up to $50 to rent a PS3 to play Metal Gear Solid 4. I don't have too many friends with PS3s, or even MGS 4, but I must play this game!

No, I believe that they don't. Rent-A-Center does, but I don't know if they have one where you live.

I've offered $40 and some of my PS2 games(good ones too like DMC and Ratchet and Clank) to people just to borrow their PS3 for 4 days, but no one is budging. I'm not as social as I could be, and I do have friends, but I don't know anyone extremely well for them to give me their PS3. Before I moved to my new house, I used to have a ton of close friends that lived near me who might have given it, but all I have in my neighborhood is a bunch of old people.

Just go to your nearest movie/video game rental store and they are bound to have systems for rent there. All of the ones where I live have them.

I could buy a PS3 from BestBuy, and I think I can return it within 30 days. I don't think they have a restocking fee on Game systems, but I do know they have one on GPSs. I can easily come back and say that the system would keep shutting off randomly and it was giving me a few problems, return it, , so I'll come back in a few days to buy another one, but of course I won't come back, all I need to do is listen to the story that Kojima wants to tell me.

Does that include Block Busters?
