By not I mean you can have one and not check it, and that also goes for any other social networking site.
I don't for starters.

I've had a Facebook for almost four years. I don't really use it much anymore though.t3hrubikscubeIs it because of college?
I have facebook but I never use it. Maybe once in like ... 3 months randomly. I always have to click "forget your password?" link too.
I don't have anything (myspace, twitter) either. I do use WLM though.
I signed up for one late one night out of sheer boredom until I realized how limited it is compared to older social sites and so I rarely pay it any heed these days.
I don't. I guess my mindset is that if someone I know personally wants to communicate with me over the computer they can shoot me an email. I don't see what the purpose is of having other people see the conversation.
I'm not too big on the whole "web 2.0" thing with everyone feeling the need to post everything about their lives online. There's already too much information on the internet to the point where it's a "tyranny of choice" type situation as it is, as far as deciding what to read, at least for my sometimes OCD level curiosity. (Sometimes I just HAVE to at least take a look at every link in an article to see what it's about, if I find the article itself particiuarly interesting, and then one thing leads to another and somehow reading one article ends up taking 2 or 3 hours.) I don't also need to waste my time reading about where the **** people went for lunch.

i dont use any of the social networking sites.i just dont feel the need to inform the world of every little detail of my life.
i guess im not very social at all for that matter.ive been a member of this forum since 2004 and this will be my 112 post.
I just made one two days ago because my friends insisted. It's alright. I could see myself getting bored with it pretty soon.
I have one to keep in touch with out of state family, but all in all, I hate facebook, and all social networking sites. They should die.
I've never had a Facebook page. Not crazy about the idea of reading boring comments from 300 people I'm hardly friends with.
I had one but then I changed my name and the email address and put it to private, deleted all my friends so now it's the property of Henry Dawson. **** facebook.
