It's definitely impressive, especially the speakers. The floors are even better, though. Those are the shiniest floors I have ever seen. I could slide across them with my socks for hours.

I also love the couches. Pretty sweet.
yeah if you look on page 90, people are trying to guess who this person is, they think it's some underwear company owner. interesting that people figured that out.
also, a few pages before that he has new subs that are freakin huge.
i'm a very neat person, prob. a neat freak and would love a place like this, love the style, already got a nice tv and surround sound myself, just not the furniture. the kitchen is really slick looking too. it would be a full time job to clean it though - would need to sweep and dust twice a day to keep it like that. i like the built in wine cooler too
I like how the thread is titled "My Little Effort".
"Little" Effort? Really? :P
Nonetheless, amazing setup.
Honestly, I wouldn't want to have that in my house. I'd be too busy fantasizing about how much it reminds me of The Matrix or those last scenes of 2001: A Space Odyssey to actually use it.
Hmm...glad to know I'm not the only one. >_>I won't lie, I would do unspeakable things for that setup.

Yea i just like the components. I dont really like the look of the house though, I would worry about getting something to dirty. For some reason I don't like it that much.
Don't get me wrong, it's very beautiful and everything, just not my type of setup.

Not really. TV is too far and the entire house in general looks way to sterile for my taste. I don't care terribly that much for the equipment anyways, particuarly the sound equipment since i don't like loud noises too much. I also prefer something that looks alot more lived in then that place.
His house is a clean room?
Oh wait I know who he is, he is the guy who designed mirrors edge. Take a guess why :)

It is nice and looks sweet but there are some on there that are way better than that. AVS changed the look, I haven't been on in a few months
It looks awesome. I just don't like two things: those orange sitting things in the main room - they don't look too comfortable, the design of the kitchen - I would be too afraid to prepare there food, because everything would leave a stain there.
edit: I love the lying chair in the PC room.
You serious? There are speakers like Mirage that cost thousands just by them self's with know receiver.i wonder how much that speak system cost. my home theater system i thought was one of the best you could get, it was 400 on sale from $500 ... but his just looks a million times better

Yeah, it's a neat looking kitchen, but it's not the most functional one I've ever seen unless you cook with one hand and wipe everything with a sponge in the other immediately after doing anything. It looks awesome. Don't want that at all. It seems so cold. I wouldn't feel like I'm home at all. Is it a requirement to be in a suit too? Damn, that's like Mirror's Edge. I've seen better setups that look comfortable.
Exactly. It doesn't look very cozy at all...i'd feel like i was living in an Ikea catalog.Don't want that at all. It seems so cold. I wouldn't feel like I'm home at all. Is it a requirement to be in a suit too? Damn, that's like Mirror's Edge. I've seen better setups that look comfortable.

You serious? There are speakers like Mirage that cost thousands just by them self's with know receiver. Yeah, I have listened to some B&Ws that were 8-12k each (cant remember). Sorry to tell you ncderek 400-500 dollars for a system is considered entry level (or worse). I bet each of those speakers was at least a grand, most likely way more than that (5k range), and then his amps and receiver most likely cost about the same. There are speaker that will go up to like a couple hundred grand, but those are for crazy rich audiophiles. EDIT: The MSRP is $12,000 a pair on the left and right speakers, the rest are a little less, but still way expensive.[QUOTE="ncderek"]
