This topic is not about the existence of God or not, so please don't open up that powder keg;). It's pretty safe to say that every second of everyday somebody somewhere in the world is praising him. I know that there are people cursing him, but still. If I were him I think it'd get pretty annoying after the first dozen millennia, I'd especially be tired of this during the dark ages. I'm sure if I were God I'd be like: "Damn STFU:o!!!" Or something along those lines, and be tempted to smote a kitten. What do you guys think, how would you deal with this if you were God?

The only thing God might get tired of is the oxymoron of modern thinking: The Atheist.

Do you guys get tired of video games, heck no techno! We are like God's video game in a way because he can control us or watch us interact with other people, we are like The Sims and he is the computer gamer playing The Sims but random turn of events happen in the game and he doesn't have to download extra content! That was a mouthful...

The Atheist would make you believe that man can survive without divinity. The Atheist would make you think that you can understand the world better without God. They are fools! Only divine revelation brings forth true knowledge; everything else is futile, but The Atheist dares not listen.

The absence of religion is like being stranded on an island without a boat, unable to sail. Marooned, alone, thirsty and scorching in the sun they will grasp at grains of sand. Throwing them into the air, they will repeat, chant the words: "What do? What do?!"

I don't have to do that. But if you come in contact with an atheist, or sleep with him, you will have to go to Hell for 99 to get 'purged' according to the Bible. Some take 'contact' more literally than others, but I make sure to steer clear of any atheist. If someone were to run up to me and offer to shake my hand, I would first be wary and ask ' You atheist?' If they're not atheist, they get my greetings. But if they're atheist, they get a pepper spray between the eyes. Non-atheist = good. Atheist = pepper spray between the eyes!

The believer would make you believe that man can survive without technology. The believer would make you think that you can understand the world better without science. They are fools! Only science brings forth true knowledge; everything else is futile, but The believer dares not listen.

makes me think of that one Family Guy scene: Carter: You know, Peter, I actually had a good time with you tonight, and I just want to say: I'm glad you married my daughter. Peter: Oh, thank you, Jesus! [Scene cuts to heaven] Jesus: Oh, actually, it wasn't me, it was- Vishnu: No, it's okay, I'm used to it.

Personally, I don't see how a being so powerful could have human emotions when its followers have seen no such being. How can you attribute petty emotions such as love and jealousy? Only a human could come up with such a thing.

Jewish, seeing as he (according to scriptures) was descended from Adam.

They're different, Allah has no son, and has no descendant who took his place at his right hand. Muslims achieve salvation through a balance of good deeds against bad ones. Christians achieve salvation through faith in Christ.

That's a pretty different God, especially considering the former point.

lol tentative

Also similarities =/= the same.

mywalletsgone

since your unwilling to read and learn, i will aks you a question.

If they are diffrent gods, which god do you think abraham belived in? The christian, the muslim or the jewish?

Jewish, seeing as he (according to scriptures) was descended from Adam.

They're different, Allah has no son, and has no descendant who took his place at his right hand. Muslims achieve salvation through a balance of good deeds against bad ones. Christians achieve salvation through faith in Christ.

That's a pretty different God, especially considering the former point.

a few fails in your logic here,

so Abraham prayed to the Jewish god? Yet hes a key figure in both Islam and Christianity? Why would they involve a person that prayed to a "false" god according to their religion? Since they, you know, prayed to the christian god / islamic god

if those things prove that god isnt the same in those religions, wouldnt that mean that Catholics and protestants believe in different gods aswell? Since you know, some believe god is an entity of 3 forms, the son, the holy spirite and the father.

Then we would have 5 gods in total now.

-

More holes in your theory about different gods would be, Which god where adam and eve praying to? And why do they have a central roll in all abrahamic religions?

If you had any sense of logic, you would understand that the god they believe in is the same, but their belief is slightly different on a few things.

Christians believe that hercules.... i mean jesus was gods son

while muslim think he was a prophet like Muhammed, and Jewish believers think he was a false prophet.

Hey Athiests, if God doesn't exist, then how does the sun survive in space without oxygen?
