Do you think cannabis actually makes people smarter?

For those who smoke legally lol... Does it make you smarter? I really think it does... Everyone that I meet that smokes it legally.. Are A and B college students.. Or are out of College with decent jobs.. Why is it Illegal? It makes no sense.. It really opens your mind.. If you don't like it.. and don't want to do it.. that's cool.. but a lot of people like it, and aren't bothering anyone else when high.. I mean seriously.. What's the problem?.. People say hey they will crash a car.. 90 percent of them are too lazy or scared to drive.. and it would stop many people from drinking alcohol and smoke instead, which is more safe.. What's the deal? I wanna look at the starts, in a state like the ancient people of times.. and be spirtual.. feel it.. I see the sky.. I count the stars.. wishing.. pondering .. We sttrive to know all.

I wouldn't say it makes one more intelligent. Hallucinogens such as LSD-25 and Psilocybin can however I think. Steve Jobs said taking LSD was one of the most important things he had done in his life and Francis Crick who after finding the structure of DNA to be elusive managed to deduce it from taking LSD, and those are just a few examples of people that have come forward, I would bet many more never disclosed the fact of them having taken such compounds.

Marijuana regulates the Alpha Wave, which is associated with creativity. It won't make you smarter, but it may allow you to see things from a perspective you've never considered before.

LSD, on the other hand, will introduce you to ideas you may not have wanted to contemplate in the first place, especially concerning reality. That's where most people get bad trips from: they start thinking too seriously about sh1t instead of having fun and enjoying the ride and it becomes a self-reciprocating bad experience.
