Nope, you're just paying for the label. For the price of an iPod you could get several Sony walkmans, and I'm not bothered about smart phones (all I use a phone for is calls and texts). And their computers seem to be hilariously overpriced for what you get. I always chuckle when someone brags about their shiny new £1000 Mac that hardly does anything more than my £300 laptop.
[size=11]Have you even tried a Macbook? Used one for longer than at the store or "at a friends house?" I've had one Macbook for the time that I had two Windows laptops, both of which developed motherboard issues right after the warranty expired. And those were after I had numerous Windows desktops breaking over and over again, crashing, and freezing. My Mac has crashed twice in two years, and my Windows laptops did that in a week. So yah, I have no problem paying more money for a quality product that isn't going to break or blue-screen within the first couple years (or even days) of purchase. :D [/size]Nope, you're just paying for the label. Yup, we used them on most days when I was at college. I didn't "get it". I didn't understand what was so good about it. It seemed like it was all for show, and it probably is. I've had PCs since Win98 (I currently use XP) and I've not had any issues, nor have I had any trouble finding my way around on them.
It may be trendy to have a glossy white Apple computer, but I don't think they're worth the price, especially when you look at what you get in terms of hardware compared to a PC of the same price. Like I said, I don't "get it".
