Or furniture someone died on? If it was super duper clean I would not care personally.

If it's like they got murdered or something, yeah. If it's just an old dude dying in his sleep or something I don't care.

That always kind of freaks me out because of horror movies, but ignorance is bliss imo. My dad brought home this ancient trunk but I couldn't bear to take it because it smelled weird (not like dead people, just old) and it creeped me out.

Why?

It would just creep me out and I would not feel comfortable living in the house.

If it had been cleaned afterwards and didn't have the outline and evidence markers still on the floor, nope.

Every person I've talked to hospitals about agreed they creep them the hell out. Myself included.

If it wasn't in a dangerous area I'd be interested in feigning discomfort to see how much I could get knocked off the price.

There's a reason hospitals are recurring settings in horror movies and games.

Not really, but if a dude got stabbed or something they'd have to get rid of that copper-y smell before I went inside.

Wouldn't have an issue, but I wouldn't be using any furniture that someone had their brain splattered all over on.

I lived in a house a friend killed himself in for a while. I didn't really have an issue living there. I actually think it was good for me because it served as a reminder that I needed at the time. I don't think I would have an issue living in a house a stranger died in.

No, because I don't believe in ghosts. The only time it would concern me is if multiple people had died in the house over a period of time in mysterious or gruesome ways. Then I assume a serial killer is stalking the house.

I wouldn't want to see Junior Seau's guts splattered on the wall or Kurt Cobain's brains on the ceiling. Otherwise, keep the place clean and tidy to honour them.

Right, well good luck coping with a condition that requires hospital admission. I don't fear hospitals and have no problem going to one if I have to. Totally irrational fear.

It would depend on how they died. Just a "normal" death, probably not. A house someone was murdered in would be much more likely to bother me, though.

Nope no problem. Whether it was murder or some old person who died in their sleep. Not to mention the price would be cheaper because no one else wanted it. lol. Well generally the price would be cheaper anyways if they are disclosing those details like they are suppose to.

I wouldn't usually have a problem I don't think, but it would depend on the individual case.

Pretty much this. Either way it's still creepy, but if the house is worth it... then nothing is going to keep me from buying it... even if it means sleeping with lights on for the rest of my life. :P

Furniture someone died on? Depends on how they died. If they blew their brains out all over the furniture, yeah I'll have a problem. As for house, it also depends on if that person was murdered, if that house was frequently getting broken into....

When I was younger? hell no. Now? Hell yeah. I don't find anything scary anymore, I mean scary movies are just a joke now. And I used to live in a pretty freaky basement (would wake up and hallucinate that spiders were all over the walls, there was something seriously wrong with that basement, but even then I still wasn't scared).

Me? No. Now, if there's something like, "I'll be back" scribbled on a wall with someone's blood, then yeah. I might get a little concerned.

As long as the body, smell, and basically everything was like it never happened, i would be fine with it. If it was a murder, i may want some details though lol. That said i would prefer a death free place. Might be cool to see if it was haunted though.

In theory, I couldn't care less. But I don't know, if I was to buy a house and I knew that in that very same room that my kids play on, kids were tortured and raped, I'm not sure how would I react.
