Do You Have a Life...?

Now,I know many of you might instantly jump to conclusions and say that I'm a troll or that I am here to flame you guys. But I am not,so the following question is a serious one.

Do you guys actually do stuff other than play video games and post on these forums? I remember back then I was a sad little person with few friends addicted to GameSpot. I had slightly over 10k posts with another account,which isn't THAT bad,but indeed something to worry about.

So,are you a basement dweller? What else do you do for recreation? Are you part of many social groups?

I suffer from intense curiosity. =/

I work to many hours each week to not have a life. And I spend as much time reading books as I do posting on forum websites and surfing the web. I may not have a very active life compared to others, but I enjoy the activities that I devote time to.

To answer your question, yes. I would hate to play video games all the time. And I would hate to be here all the time.

Im very rarely on these forums. So yes, I do indeed have a very nice life outside this place.

All, I ever do, is sit on this computer, in the basement, and smoke pot, while posting on GS.

ya i have a life i usually have basketball practice every night and hangout with my friends but i do like playin video games tho

I have a life. It's just not an interesting one. Work, come home, do nothing. Work, come home, do nothing. Maybe if I won the lottery, I could do something fun during those 40 hours a week that drains my energy.JustPlainLucas

I've played soccer for the past four years, have a job which I do about 4 - 5 days a week, spend at least one day a week hanging with my friends and try to catch up with my boyfriend. I think I'll call that a life.

Yes, because I live my life how I want to live it. I don't live life by other's definition of what a life is. It's simple really... Life is what you want to make it. Even if you play World of Warcraft all day, you aren't lifeless, you just live it in a different way from someone else. There are those who tend to think they have some sort of superiority over you because their life is based more on social interaction and doing things like going to parties all the time and being around people constantly... but whatever... They are a little immature if you ask me. But, if your only activity is to play some MMORPG constantly to the point where it begins to interrupt your personal health, relationships, work, school, then you might have a mental addiction. It's good to live your life the way you want to, but you should also consider moderation in order to maintain physical and mental health.

Personally I am a very introverted person and don't like overly social activities. I have no problems with people in general. I'm not shy, I make friends easily and mostly everyone gets along with me. However, I like to keep very few people as actual friends, the rest are associates that I try to talk to as little as possible. To be honest, I'd rather sit at home and play video games, listen/write music and just keep to myself a majority of the time. That's my life and I like it...

Well... all of my friends moved out of town so on most weekends I pretty much have no life...

well I actually spend most of my time reading or working out and as of recently looking for a job and when it isn't winter break most of my day is dedicated to school, study time and homework. Really I don't play a lot of games and the ones I do play aren't what most other people on here play. I come here only when I get bored because OT has so many fun people to have talks with and on GS OT is the only reason I do come to GS. If I feel like I am spending to much time on OT I will actually take a few months off and come back after a nice break. I usually only stick around for a few weeks and then gone for months and repeat!

Yes I have a great social life. But that does not matter even if you have few friends, you can have goals that are more important.

I'm not the most social person but I have some great friends and I get out a good bit. I've also been incredibly lucky to go on some awesome adventures in my life, and I have many, many more I'm looking forward to.

I spend most of my time at home, have very little to no friends, most of my time is spent online doing stupid things like this and playing games. I don't have a job and I'm not taking my studying seriouisly.

This is my outlet, a chance to let me think of stuff and express my opinion that I probably wouldn't have otherwise in my daily life.

Its therapeutic and good mental exercise for me

In all seriousness, I do have a life. It mostly involves partying and doing stupid ****, but it's a life nonetheless

I have my own group of friends which I hang out with at least once a week. I don't really play video games much either. I do spend a lot of time at home though.
