Joe Rogan said something along those lines and I 100% agreed with him. That's what I miss about exercise. Even just when I would go for a brisk walk around my town early in the morning on a weekend..I'd come back, and enjoy my free time because it felt worth it.

Even I can appreciate video games, TV Shows & movies much more after exercise.

Obviously that's not the case for everyone but it worked for me plenty of times.

Totally. Yeah. I feel so much better about myself every day when I exercise.

Absolutely.

After I work out, my posture is better; I stand up straight which actually makes me look like the 6'3" I stand at, instead of a hunched over 6'.

I actually want to talk to people, instead of being afraid of them. I usually do the whole meekly-smile-as-I-walk-past kind of thing when I think people look at me or whatever. After I worked out yesterday and went to the grocery store, I think I said hello to like three strangers. I am incredibly self-conscious, so doing that is a huge deal for me.

The best part of it is that it leads into this whole daisy-chain of productivity. After I work out, I generally tend to run some errands. Then I go home and work on something. If I sit down at my computer to post here or play games, I think I get a little impatient with it and go do something else. If I do end up playing games, I don't feel guilty about it.

I mean, the whole "healthy body, healthy mind" concept really cannot be stressed enough imo.

Men are happier and more satisfied with their life when they're productive.

It just so happens that job satisfaction is what adds up to most of men's positive mindset, second being their health.

Men age like fine wine if they choose to do so.

I know I'll appreciate a hot bath to relieve tired joints and muscle aches.

Sure, a shower is never more refreshing than when you're sweaty.

Having just chased after my dumb ass husky for 30 odd minutes a new-found appreciation for "leads" has been formed.

@speeny: Na, you're the lucky. Chihuahua no trouble. Husky sounds cool on paper but in practice they can be very difficult dogs.

Your body releases endorphins when you exercise its like a temporary high. It leaves your mind a bit more elevated for the rest of day most likely so it's easier to enjoy things in a better mood.

As a master of the immobile arts, exercise goes against what I stand (or not stand as the case may be) for.

I would actually have to exercise to be able to answer that question. That isn't happening anytime soon.

I do my fair share of exercise on the weekend and I do walk alot everyday and I appreciate the results it adds to my body. Once I get to a certain point in my time, I won't need to exercise anymore. All I really need to do is eat health.

Yep... also eating healthy, sleeping well and meditating can enhance video games, tv shows and movies!

Oh, also abstaining from any/all forms of sexual activity. Don't believe me? Try it and find out!

I do strongman training and I always feel much better after a session, more content and at peace with the world.

A meal definitely always tastes better afterwards!!

Just recently we flew to visit my wife's mother and whilst there I fixed both her vacuum cleaner and carpet cleaner, she was so pleased she actually started crying, that felt good to be able to help.
