If there wasn't then the world around you would just go black and you will loose the privelidge to think, so you will be unable to think, you would just sit there and your mind would not exist. That's weird to think of

And above guy, yeah hell is probably like falling and falling with flames coming from the wals and you can't see anybody but you can hear their taunts and jeers as you collide with rock walls knowing your friends abandoned you and God has, too.
Heaven is probably the Garden of Eden or something and God probably comes to your door every day and says hi :P

I see, I still don't see why not having that belief would make people unable to live a sane life. Honestly, I think that without death or "The absolute End"(whatever you want to call it), life has no value or meaning. Or rather, I can't even consider something without death to be living at all.

What would you do in your afterlife? I mean, if it's like most here with the christian belief, it will just be eternity! ETERNITY! Do you know how long time that is? Do you honestly think you can keep yourself entertained for THAT long?
