Do you believe Horoscopes are the real deal?

I do not. I have been dating a guy, who is a Gemini, for a couple of months now and he and I are perfect for one another.

He is is such an intelligent, sexy, thoughtful, ambitious guy. We talk on the phone every night and we chat on facebook late into the night sometimes after we get off the phone.

He is the most caring, considerate guy i have ever known. He even speaks 5 different languages! Yet when i checked out the horoscopes to see what they had to say it said that we are completely incompatible and that it would take a miracle for us to be happy together.

It was total B.S.

Ive studied enough real astrology and done enough charts for different people when the whole chart is done from sign,moon sign,rising sign and the 12 houses and have compared them all and came to the conclusion that a full chart CAN give you some insight into a person.

Its like tides and the moon.

That being said I think most astrology genralizations are junk and I in no way believe in horrorscopes or think it can tell your future.Thats just my two cents.

The only truth horoscopes hold is their ability to create self fulfilling prophecies on the gullible. ie you read your incompatible with boyfriend, the first argument you have you think ah ha!! the horoscope was right! and proceed to break up.

Fortunately you're not gullible.

Hey, even if we aren't together next year, it won't mean the horoscope was right! Lol. It'll just mean we had our issues. But, the horoscopes are just a guess.

They just spurt out broad info that could apply to anyone, so that when something similar to what it said would happen happens, it can

be said that the horoscope predicted it.

Yea I believe them. I have a really good book on astrology and it's very detailed, every thing I've read in there has held up in real life. I've also had charts done on myself and close family and they have been very specific and correct.

As far as love-matching, my book said the best marriage match for a Cancer is a Scorpio. Lo and behold, my husband is a Scorpio :lol:

I don't, however, believe in those newspaper daily horoscopes, those are trash.
