I don't agree with it, but the people who enjoy demeaning gangster rap have a right to feel however they want, as do the women who portray themselves in that light.

There are stupid people that listen to a song and follow the words exactly (they usually make the news at some point), thankfully they are at a minimum.

Why do I allways get the feeling that the people who are most eager to talk about respect for women are the ones who thinks they are less capable somehow? Heck, there is loads of music that portray men as filth or other negative sterotypes but it's okay because we can handle it! however If it's about women it's suddenly "Waaaah, we have to protect them because they're weak!". Give me a break.. I respect people regardless of their gender and I also respect the Freedom of Speech which is like the coolest thing ever.

As much as I would love to bang Trina - Foxxy Brown etc, they bring women in Hip-Hop down. Always singing swallowing men, taking it hard roguh all the time, naming songs like "I got a problem, I like to ****", etc. They bring down women more than men do.
I have never and will never accept the way rap demeans women. Then again, I listen to the occasional song demeaning religion and people might not accept :P
