So, what are some takes on TV shows you have that are considered blasphemy among viewers?

My choice:

The Mortis Arc is among the worst in Star Wars: The Clone Wars (2008). Love the series, and it had some good moments (Liam Neeson returning as Qui-Gon Jinn, and the potential of Dark Ahsoka), but what killed it is the half assed reference to Revenge of the Sith.

What was the point? It spoiled a movie for those who somehow hadn't seen it, and for those who did, it felt like the writers thought the viewers were idiots in not knowing what Anakin becomes.

I think the original Star Trek series sucks.

Captain Picard >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Captain Kirk

It's more of a heavily divided opinion I think. I know plenty think the same. But you have the opposite opinion from another large group of people too.

Lost had a fantastic ending, and most of the hate for it was because the ending didn't match their own fan theories they had been developing for the past half decade the show had aired in.

Batman Beyond isn't really good. Too many weak episodes and unmemorable villains and too many bad guys in Terry's school. Also, Terry McGuinness is an imposter as Batman. Bruce Wayne is a creep for being sexually attached to Barbara Gordon in the past.

Twilight Zone 2002 is very underrated I love rewatching them I don't give a damn about the old and black white ones from the 60's.

And Bruce Timm and Brian Azzarello thought it was a good idea for Bruce and Barb to bang in "Killing Joke" (or Batsex Joke). Cue my inner Brian Griffin...

The Simpsons should have been retired like 15 years ago.

@Willy105: I never got past the third or fourth season of Lost, it was pretty easy to see by that point the writers had no f**king clue what they were doing.

@ezekiel43: "Batman Beyond isn't really good. "

What was your beef with it?

"Bruce Wayne is a creep for being sexually attached to Barbara Gordon in the past."

?

@jangles: "The Simpsons should have been retired like 15 years ago."

More like 20.

I just said. Also, the animation sucked in the second season.

I liked Skyler in Breaking Bad. I guess in the first few episodes she came off kind of bitchy, but once Walter's double life started, I felt like every confrontation she had with him was perfectly justified. Didn't even realize there were so many people with such a visceral hatred for the character until later on. It was one of those situations where the actress got harassed online about it.

People didn't seem to notice that Walter was kind of shitty. Very complex and compelling character, but not a good person. I always hoped everything would eventually blow up in his face. Maybe that's why Skyler didn't upset me when she confronted or tried to undermine him.

The Sopranos is the greatest show to ever appear on television. Not in the same company as, not among the greatest, not top 5, but literally number one and everything else is behind it. There is no Breaking Bad, GoT, The Wire, etc. without it.
