Clash of the titans 2/5 - Empire

Here is a review of the major motion picture courtesy of Empire.

I swear sometimes reading the comments on the IMDB I think that there are studio people posting there.

Contrary to this review, there was an "early review" citing how the effects were as good as Avatar... >_>

god i hate that.

I was watching an ad for it and the ad said "Also in 2D" and, frankly...I was insulted. Its like 2D is dated, an afterthought...and anyone still viewing it is a chump

The movie had a huge Michael Bay vibe anyway (that means it sucks). Also it's from the director of Transporter 2 and the Incredible Hulk, so it was doomed to being with.

Ill wait to hear from people whom actually went to see the movie to make my decision.

I'll be seeing it regardless, simply because the original was so amazingly cheesy. :P

It seems the reviewer thinks the original is a - kitsch cult "classic" anyway.

I'm going to watch both versions just to see how the 3D ruins it.

Liam Neeson and Ralph Fiennes are in the movie. I must see it. I can not fathom it being a failure, having those two on board.Lockedge

This looks like one of the best movies of the year. I love the big fights and special effects and the fantasy settings. It will be great.

The original was a good movie. Lets see if the new one stays true to it, with some more exciting battle scenes and effects.

edit: I'm going to see the movie this weekend and maybe kick-ass down the line. even the stick-up-their-a$$ movie critics seem to be enjoying it.

A remake of a classic receiving subpar reviews?!?! History gives no mention of this phenomenon!

Though Liam Neeson was the best, most descriptively accurate choice for Zeus.

The original, although cheesey and horrible graphics compared to other movies of its day (Star Wars), was/is a cult classic.
