I honestly don't get the point of this thread. That article basically affirms that universal health care is attainable without things such as waiting lists - something that is commonly deployed by critics of universal health care.

I don't know if the thread title or those quotes are a good representation of the article as a whole. The biggest problem with the medical system at present is that there is no universal database of patient records, which is a ridiculous omission. Lab reports and test results are still faxed and kept (paper copy) at your GP's office.
