I annoy some people when I text for using apostrophe's and correct spelling/grammar. Some abbreviations either escape me or just plain confuse me (I can't be arsed looking up what TTYL means) but I can read most txt messages.

Same here. Except I leave out some capitals because my phone sucks at capitalizing things.

As do I, but I text ALL of the time, and I can do it pretty quickly.

I don't use acronyms except for the standard stuff. Like "lol" or "ttyl". The only reason why I do that is because it just doesn't feel right to say "Bye" in a text, it comes off as harsh or negative for some reason(just my opinion). So I spell everything out correctly and in the right order, except for a few instances.
