I honestly can't see how anyone would drink water from the sink, the place where you wash dishes. Or in the shower, the place where you scrub your body clean. That's third-world country material right there. But who knows, they say that the US and Canada, having actual rivers and springs, contain more clean water than... other places.

Tap water here tastes a bit funny (a bit bitter) but when you put it bottled in the fridge, it tastes just fine. :P

get a purifying pitcher and tap water becomes good.. it also helps that where i live the tap water is said to be some of the best. i dont think a pitcher could save mexico's water.

Tap water all the way. Cheap, and it tastes the same. At least over here in europe it does.

Buying bottled water is not logical in any way imaginable to me. After all, it tastes the same and it's healthy to drink tap water.

bottled water tastes SOOOOO much better than tap its unreal. for those who say they taste the same i recommend doing a blind taste test or getting your taste buds checked out cuz something might be broken.

In terms of taste they are both even, there isn't any difference between the two. Although I prefer tap since it's better for the environment and is a heck of a lot cheaper then bottled water.

Or maybe it just depends on the area you're in. Tap water here is fine, thank you.

Tap water. Bottled water is unnecessary, they come from a tap too. Do you think there is an army of workers standing in rivers with empty bottles, bottling the water? If you wash your dishes by rubbing them against the actual tap where the water comes from, you're doing it wrong.

tap water FTW. Full of minerals and stuff thats good for your teeth.

bottled water FTL. Youre paying for something thats free, and youre polluting; one, it comes in bottles made of plastic, and two it gets shipped (waste of gas) all over the country.

They both taste the same to me. SO it doesn't really matter. I have one of those filter things, so I drink from the sink. I also drink bottled water.

I suppose it really depends on where you live but generally speaking tap water is held to a higher purification standard than bottled water. It tastes a bit off due to all the chemicals added to keep it clean, but a simple filtered system such as Brita will take care of that and then you have relatively free water which is much cleaner.

So...filtered water for me.

bottled water, tap water has so many more chemicals and such in it, as for instance in toronto all the run of when pesticides are used or your anti freeze or whatever it all runs off into lake ontario although it is purified, it is purified with other chemicals such as chlorine, flouride and thats just stuff you dont want an abundance of, while bottled water depending on the vendor comes from a spring or a canal type thing, and list all the ingredients in it and the PPM while your tap water you have to look up.

Bottled water. At home, we have a well, and the water is pretty heavy with iron, so it tastes a bit off. At my apartment at school, it's city water which tastes awful.

Bottled water comes at an extortionate price, and usually tastes worse than tap water. Although both are a lot better than filtered tap water.

Tap wata! Bottled water is so useless (unless you live somewhere where that has mud flowing through its water pipes).

Also, while I drink from the kitchen tap, what's wrong with drinking water from the bath tub faucet, or the bathroom sink? It's literally the same thing as drinking from your kitchen tap.

Anyways, back on topic. Bottled water is such a waste of plastic. I watched a discovery channel segment not to long ago where they compared tap water to bottled water. They found that some of the tap waters they were testing were actual cleaner! In my case, this is probably true, as my city has a fantastic water filtration system. On the same show, they offered tap and bottled water to people on the street, the majority of them said that they believe the tap water tasted better.

Finally, most (not all) bottled waters are filtered city water, which is then bottled. If you've ever payed for a bottle of Dasani, or Auquafina, etc, you got duped into buying tap water.

Die bottled wataaaa!!!! :x
