This doesn't sound like a random encounter with police.

They are talking about IEDs,Fully Automatic firearms and hand grenades

Makes sense. This shooting happened only hours after the FBI released the suspect photos. Police went in to arrest the guy, he shot the officer, fled. All hell broke loose. 

Then again, it is CNN. :lol:

Via The Boston Globe, officials are saying one Marathon bomber has been caught, one still on the loose. Others saying it's still too early to think that. Either way, this is crazy.

One Marathon bombing suspect has been caught, and another is on the loose in Watertown after a firefight with police, officials said.

Apperently suspect 2 is Sunil Tripathi. He was the missing Brown student from a few weeks back. Found exposives at Brown, couldn't find a suspect. Also left a cryptic mesage.

Got my police scanner going. Just heard them say "fifteen shots fired" about 30 seconds ago.

let me guess, enemy had unregistered weapons. 

CNN just confirmed one suspect is dead, the other on the run. 

CNN gets it wrong as usual. Although they totally just showed video of the naked guy being arrested. Could be a third suspect, or could be a totally innocent dude they embarrased in national tv.
