Black Friday, Sales, Sales, Sales !

Who is going to take advantage of the sales this Thanksgiving week, and Black Friday ?

I already purchased a over the top micro oven range. I'm also tempted to get one of them 4K HDTV's.

Someone has been camped out at our local electronics store since Saturday, lol . Insane man. What are you guys getting ? Lots of systems, and games, movies will be on sale. I will most likely take advantage also.

As usual I'll check out lightning deals on Amazon. This year there's very little I want or need.

If i get anything for myself it would maybe be the razer pc soundbar if it hits 50% off. Speaking of petsmart if they do a big food sale I will maybe order a couple hundred pounds of nature's recipie dog food. The dobermans go through that stuff like you would not believe.

I'm still hoping on some good deals for gaming laptops that got a GTX 980m in them. Specifically MSI GT72S. I have enough to buy one right now but I want to see if I can save a few hundred dollars getting one on discount...

I'm hoping I see one soon though. I've seen some really nice deals on Amazon that I'd love to pick up...

4k tvs actually have annoying features and even when adjusting them some things can look ugly when watching movies like avengers.

Serious ? Huh ? Well Nef lix has 4 K, and cable has some 4K stuff too.

You can see the editing in movies and actor makeup with 4k. Its too realistic sometimes.

I going tomorrow to get my Ps4 bracelet at walmart for the black friday sale.

We're also picking up a computer and a garbage can, lol.

Got myself Rise of the Tomb Raider on Xbox One for £34 (usually sells for around £38-45), and a Mewtwo Amiibo for £8, so far.

Will probably save the rest of my spending for Friday, unless I see something I desperately want.

Now you shopping for reals dawg ! I got me a garbage can a few weeks ago, and i was shocked that it costs $45 dollars, lol .. Good luck.

I'll hold out for Cyber Monday instead of waking up my lazy ass just to go shop at some angry shoppers cause I don't feel like shooting anyone. Buuut I will do my Steam BF sales starting Friday.

Yes, on our Neflix streaming site, and some on our Comcast Cable provider, and special orders from Sony. Not very much, but we even have blu-ray players which upscale the regular Blu-ray for us. Its enough for the media enthusiast.

I'll pass. From my experience they usually just heavily discount items that people ordinarily wouldn't want to pay full price for. And anything particularly desirable will get a small discount at most, no more than any other sale really.

Sales are what prices should be when normal. Everything way too much these days. This makes me think how much are they actually making on one product sold at full price if they can afford 40% off or more.

@LexLas: Yeah we have Sony Blu-ray up scaling here but I cannot tell any difference on my 110inc 4K projector?

Ended up getting some of the same deals online, NOT GOING and thank God because I can't stand that friggen crowd.

Picked up the Planet Of The Apes collection (the 5 original movies, Deadwood collection, Inbetweeners collection, The Godfather collection and a torch.

Wanted the X-files collection but the flash sale stock went too fast.

Why did you choose a projector over a 4K HDTV ? They make them huge also. Must be nice though. Were you able to put bass speakers on the floor, or behind the theater seats ? For that bass rumble effect ? I will one day do this to one of the rooms in my home.

this was 3 years ago and at least here Downunder, you cannot purchase a 110" or 2.8m HDTV. All of the speakers are in the ceiling and the subbie is pretty powerful as the floor upstairs vibrates when I turn it up!

Wonder how many will be trampled to death this year.

I haven't seen any "sales" so far that would make me open my wallet.

I can't really think of anything I want to buy on Black Friday. But, my wife left at 4 am on a non-working day. So, she must have something in mind.

Got the Clint Eastwood collection literally 2 seconds before the sales bar maxed out.

Pretty happy with my haul from this weeks sales. Managed to pick up Star Wars: Clone Wars Seasons 1-5 on Blu-Ray, Rise of the Tomb Raider, Transformers: Devastation, Divinity: Original Sin Enhanced Edition, Mad Max, Darksiders 2: Death-initive Edition, and a Mewtwo Amiibo for all for just under £150.

Will try not to spend much more, if any as I plan to get both Xenoblade Chronicles X and Just Cause 3 when they launch in the next week or so, but might pick up Assassin's Creed: Syndicate if I see it on offer anywhere.

Got the good old bait and switch from Target. Got a 4K TV online that had pretty good reviews. Picked it up in store an hour or so later. Set it up and it was a lemon. It would restart itself, get frozen on the LG screen lose sound blah blah blah. So I started googleing the model # on the box and could find nothing. Only then I see it was a diff model than the one I ordered. Same size, both 4K both LGs but not the TV I ordered. The second email target sent said I ordered a 1080P tv with even a diff model #. Good thing the original order email had the right model # on it so I took it back and they gave me my money back. Had the TV not had problems I never would have started googling it and never would have known they tried to scam me. The customer service guy said he never seen the model I ordered in their store and when he tried to look it up online he could not find it.
