In an Interview, with George Stephanopoulos, Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad claimed that bin Laden is hiding in Washington D.C. Basically George asked about the possibility that bin Laden is hiding in Iran somewhere, Ahmadinejad said that is impossible but he thinks bin Laden's in Washington, although it seems like Ahmadinejad was being sarcastic.

I thought I saw him down by 14th and U Street the other night... he looked quite happy though, surrounded by vibrant nightlife scene and pretty girls. Maybe he's changed his ways.

He made a very good point.. invading a country to find him, but having no idea where he really was. hmm.. first time i have ever seen him being interviewed, he is quite the speaker. (there is a better way to describe how he came across but a complete mental block makes me incapable of finding the word :P)

I'm assuming when he said it he said in the context of something like "theres as much chance he is here than he is in Washington D.C.".

He wasnt being sarcastic. Obama is the one approving of all the drone attacks. Obama has loosened the requirements to strike with drones and increased the usage of them dramatically compared to Bush. I suspect the Time square bomber was probably set off by the rising corpses in his homeland, among other issues of course.

Like I said before, the critics of Bush handling on the "war on Terror" has nothing to do with the endgame and goals, rather the lack of discretion and flamboyant bravado. Notice how there arent any manufactured anti war protests and the media isn't as critical as they once were. Both parties support liberalizing and "freeing" the world, Democrats are just more subtle with their approach.

Wow, I hope Iran gets the bomb soon and the Americans will finally be forced to shut up and back down

You hope Iran gets the bomb really? You want more countries to have nukes? But anyway it won't force the U.S. to shut up- by the time Iran gets one nuke, we already will have thousands of nukes.

I actually prefer there were less nuclear weapons, but the problem is that the US is such an aggressive country. Whether its actual war or interference, the US is the worst perpetrator.

:o You know, that would be genius! Who would think to look in Washington DC? This actually makes sense. Although where would he hide and how would he not be seen? Then again, there are a lot of stupid people out there that can't even find the US on a map.
