College Humor is polling its users' favorite sitcom couples and I decided why not ask OT who their favorite sitcom couple is. (Remember it has to be two romantically linked characters)
My choice
Any other answer is wrong :P

Dr Herb Melnick and Judith. Judith is a biznitch but Herb happily puts up with it, because he is such a freakin awesome guy!
Tim and Dawn.
You see the almost Victorian, forbidden relationship unfold through the two series and culminates in them getting together in the final scene of the Christmas special.
Or Niles Crane and Daphne Moon.
Ralph and Alice KramdenxaosIf you enjoy the Honeymooners, you'll LOVE the Bickersons. Kinda "raunchy" for back then, for lack of a better word.
I always wondered why sitcoms always have to use the same race/ethnicity in their couples and families. Like George Lopez is married to a mexican and Seinfeld mostly has Jews on it or how alot of sitcoms with black people are always married to other black people ect....I'm not saying that it bothers me or anything and I don't think it's a bad thing, but why can't they make a sitcom that has mixed couples for a change? Why do the creatores always have to have it with just one group? I don't see this very often, although the new show Rob has a mexican wife and he's Jewish.
I don't know, I just think they should show it more often.

Eh...I thought it was ok, but Adam Sandler should have his own sitcom instead. He would make it WAY better....
I was just commenting on that it's one of the few sitcoms that I've seen that has a mixed couple.

There are three options:
- Buster and Lucille

4. George Michael and Egg.
Her?
[QUOTE="Hallenbeck77"]At least until Tisha Campbell quit the show. Well the show wasn't going to go on forever anyway True, but the main reason it was enjoyable was the relationship between the two. Once she left, it wasn't the same without her.[QUOTE="Bucked20"]Martin and Gina

That show Rob wasn't even remotely funny. I had to look this up on WIki... what coke-snorting psychopath gave ROB SCHNEIDER his own show?! Firefly was cancelled, but this abortion was greenlit... and we all know it won't last a season.I always wondered why sitcoms always have to use the same race/ethnicity in their couples and families. I would have put those two if it wasn't for the fact that they're not a romantic couple :P

Father Ted and Father Dougal

 Best show ever!
:D I still watch episodes online, such a shame that Dermot Morgan died the day after filming had finished for the third series :(
LOVE that show!!![QUOTE="BATTOSAI76"]
Bill and Judy from Still Standing. Too bad that show never made it.:(
Planet_Pluto

I know, It's a total shame. I'd definitely put it in my top 5 comedies though.

Exactly... the guy is so synonymous with unfunny crap, that SouthPark made him a meme! ---- Hmmm, Ted and Dougal are a good choice...
[QUOTE="chilly-chill"] Red and Kitty no doubt.DraugenCP
Yes, yes!
Haha, these 2 characters had such unique personalities in the show.definitly Archie and Edith
I was gonna sas Frank and Marie, but one user mentioned the Bunkers and well........
They have to settle for a distant second. It's kinda hard to compete when you aren't the main characters despite being the best characters in the show.

One of my all-time favorites...
DharmaMember77
No Al and Peggy Bundy? :o
They belong here, but I decided not to take the obvious route. :PI missed the opening post asking for romantic couples, but I think they qualify. Reason being, it was the early '70s during the beginning of the sexual revolution--two divorced men living together, bickering all the time like they were married...SOMETHING had to be going on behind closed doors.
