Also, i have no idea why Shawshank Redemption is #1 on the IMDB top 250. It's a good movie, certainly well above average, but it's not that good. But then again, The Dark Knight is #7, and that movie barely registered with me as anything more than an average super hero flick with one great performance. I don't even think TDK belongs in the top 250.

A Clockwork Orange. It's my favourite book as well.

Second best is a lot harder, but Taxi Driver definitely deserves a mention.
