Sold in Australia and New Zealand, and a few other places. Had it when I lived in New Zealand. It just tasted "right," somehow.
Those are candy bars, not chocolate bars. Yes, it matters.
My favorite chocolate bars are high-cocoa % bars by Green and Blacks.
My favorite candy bars? Idunno it's been so long since I've had one. I was always partial to 3 Musketeers; really simple, fluffy choc nugget with chocolate shell. Milky Way is good, too.
I like stuff like Snickers, Reese's NutRageous, Butterfinger, Ghirardelli, Lindt, Hershey's Cookies n Creme, Mr. Goodbar, Aero, Kit-Kats, and such.
Not sure if they count, but I really like the chocolate "bars" from Läderach. Not sure if they exist outside of Switzerland
The best tasting chocolate bar I've had is Godiva Masterpieces Milk Chocolate Caramel Lion of Belgium. It's a bit pricey, like 2 dollars for a bar. Bu it's so good. It is like more of a fancy bar, and even comes in gold-colored wrapping after you open the box.
My local Winco foods sales them. Your local Wal-Mart or supermarket might sale them.
Leonidas has the bestest chocolate.
The only thing they don't do that well... are bars.
But if I want something chocolaty I want a Leonidas egg or bonbon most.
I guess Lindt makes a good 70% bar. I use this bar for cooking. Apparently a lot of the bean's flavors are lost in their factory processing. I also hear their other bars have lesser quality beans. But I think this one tastes great.
