Beauty and the Beast live action trailer!

Looks kinda somewhat okay I guess. I did grew up with Beauty and the Beast cartoon movie, love it as a kid but it never came to my mind about Disney making it a live action film but I would've prefer Aladdin over this however. My only grip here is Luke Evans as Gaston. Dude is cut as hell but not the "size of a barge" or hairy enough to be Gaston, Disney could've done better then that now. Well anyways, I'll go see it just for the hell of it.

Like Ghost In The Shell, I don't much get the point of this. Neither look as good as the animated version.

Meh, pass.

I will stick with the animated version. So will my niece. And so will any children I might have.

A live action Beauty & the Beast?

It begs the question:

I expected a much more scary looking main character, and just more of everything. It almost seems like a joke movie ? But i already know my kids are gonna drag me to go see it. And thats really the entire target, so it will sell.

The Beast look a lot less menacing, Emma Watson looks meh(she look way too young) and doesnt fit the settings and surprisingly, Gaston is the only character that actually look interesting.

That's what I noticed too. I don't know Emma but she doesn't resemble the cartoon version at all. The cartoon version looks like an adultadult. This chick looks a freshman in High school.

The Beast, candlestick, clock, teapot don't look a little weird.

Also from that trailer, are they just taking the same script from the cartoon version and just converting it to live?

This is my favorite Disney movie and story so I've been very excited about this for months now. As a Harry Potter fan I'm sort of happy to see Hermione as Belle, and sort of not. She looks very young. Too young. The Beast's voice sounds familiar somehow. Is it really the actor's own voice just altered? And he sounds too old for a young looking Belle. The trailer itself wasn't a great piece of film making. I am hoping so hard that they don't mess this movie up.
