LOL Banksy is a strange artist, and while I am sure that he has plenty of money, this prank is both funny and also it may backfire, this may be worth 2-3-4-5 times as much as when it was just sold at 1.3million

I'm sure that whoever bought this piece of art realizes they hit a lotto with that one. I can only imagine how much more valuable this piece is going to be from here on out.

I don't believe it was trolling. I am sure (as the most of you) it was his another art project. And I like the idea of this project.

To be trolled by Banksy in the art world is like getting touched by an angel. It's not such a bad thing at all, especially when it entirely fits Banksy's style. I'm certain the purchaser feels incredibly lucky with this one, especially considering how it was art history in the making.

painting it on flash paper and trigger it to ignite would have been cooler, but this is a good start :)

Yup, and it went up quite substantially before it even got outside of the auction house. That was a fast double or even triple of your investment if not more.

The point is not Banksy being an asshole. The point is Banksy being Banksy. Lighting his art on fire and letting it burn to nothing is not very Banksy.
