Well, I mean I know what it's like to be into music that adults find absolutely brain shattering. I used to play Rage Against the Machine for my mom and she thought it was nails on a chalkboard. Now I'm in her shoes with Brokencyde. Their music is literally the most awful music I have ever heard.

As for bands I can't take seriously... I'd say pretty much all of the modern metal scene. Probably because they take themselves so seriously in the first place...

I sorta do agree that a lot of death metal today is way too self centered.
Good Charlotte. Not sure what they are going for? Guess it's some kind of Blink 182 thing but their songs sound like they are aimed for 5 year olds but the look they are trying to pull off is some kind of emo cross punk thing that doesn't seem to become of them and reminds me of an older guys trying to hang out with the kids in the shopping mall.

Anyways, there's the kind I can't take seriously because they're goofy and funny as people, and then there are the bands that are just bad. That "Visions" song in RB2 make's me hysterical every time I hear it. It sounds like a dog barking. :lol:
