I am, and I want my social skills to improve! :x

I feel disliked by random people, and it interferes with my life.:(:x:evil:

So, are you socially inept, or can you pretty much talk to anyone without feeling stupid, disliked, or ready to crap your pants?:P

I'm pretty introverted, I like keeping to myself. Although I'm getting better, mainly because I"m working at a fast food joint as well as being an assistant coach, so my people skills have improved a bit over the past year.

I'm socially adept on the surface. I have no trouble saying hello or goodbye, plus a few superficialities, but beyond that I'm very uncomfortable and try to avoid others as much as possible. If I ever have to go to an occasion where I know I'll be socializing, I get drunk first. The magic bullet.

Yes. I'm good with conveying my ideas on an online forum such as this, but when it comes to public speaking, or even conversations with people I don't know well: I fail. So if I was to be asked this question by such as person, I would have just responded: "Yes".

I do alright. Some days I feel more nervous than others, but I get by.I've always beena nervous person though, even when I was a child. Inept though? I wouldn't say even close. I'm a social person.

I am one of the most socially inept people of a generation. I have only 2 real friends and they're both busy most of the time. Someone I only met once wrote to someone in a lecture that I was a freak. biggest_loser

Nope. I'm good at meeting people, good at talking to people, and good a picking up girls :D

I am a complete introvert... I don't mind being in social situations as long as I am not the least socially awkward, people should never depend on somebody like me to start a conversation; anybody who has been in that situation could tell you the level of awkwardness can be unbearable.

No, but I can't handle too much social interaction, I start getting a headache.

I am VERY social and am the jokester....EXCEPT with people i don't know [Worst combination ever].

I don't really think so. I'm not the best at striking up conversations with people I don't know well, but tend to handle social situations well otherwise.
