Always do; unless, the server, cashier, or worker is rude or a punk. If so, then they can screw off. :evil:
Other than that, I say yes/no sir/ma'am. And, I generally hold doors open for people behind me when entering a store or building. :)
I say thank you in the lunch line and at like Wal Mart and stuff...
Sometimes I say please, my parents think I'm the least polite person in the world but whatever...
Yep I'm always polite to people. That's how my parents raised me to be.

And if I wasnt polite to someone, they let me know about it and if I was blatantly rude when I was growing up, I felt the back of my mothers hand.
I do as long as the service warrants it
If its to someone else that I am meeting or a friend, then yes I will always.
usually too polite, believe it or not.
doesnt go over so well with the ladies unless they just got over a relationship with a complete jerk
